It's actually ridiculous that I haven't been on that train yet considering how often I go to the Waitakeres. I take it that it comes recommended?
Brilliant. One of the best things I have ever done in Auckland especially seeing the gloworms in the tunnel.
Hi there. Another narrow gauge line is the Waitakere Tramline Society's line at the Filter Station end of Christian Rd of which I am the current president. Our webpage is www.waitakeretramline.org.nz( Check it out...bookings essential though...ph 09 818 4649. It runs on Sundays and travels to Waitakere Dam and has a fantastic waterfall when overflowing especially after inclement weather.
